Tirion Fordring is a prominent character within the World of Warcraft universe. He first appears in the game Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness.
He was a Paladin of the Silver Hand and a Lord of Mardenholde Keep. Tirion's unwavering commitment to justice and compassion, even towards the orc Eitrigg, led to his excommunication from the order and loss of his title and lands. Despite this, he remained a steadfast defender of humanity.
Later, Tirion founded and led the Argent Crusade, an organization dedicated to fighting the undead Scourge. He played a crucial role in the defeat of the Lich King, Arthas Menethil, wielding the Ashbringer to shatter Frostmourne. He sacrificed himself to prevent the resurrection of the Lich King's power in the Shadowlands.
